Send us your non-binding application

If you would like to join the International School OWL community as day or boarding school we kindly invite you to first send us a non-binding application. Our team of study advisors and experts then first check if your shared documents and certificates meet our entry requirements and – if not – what you would have to do to meet our entry and admission requirements.

Entry & admission requirements:

Proof of English proficiency: English level B2 (e.g. IELTS 4.5 or equivalent)*
Graduation: Middle School, Junior high school diploma or equivalent
9th grade should be successfully completed
Minimum age: 15 years

* English language skills can also be proven by a school certificate or any other certificate. We do also offer written exams or interviews to check if the individual language level meets our requirements.

Note: In order to provide students with the best possible care and individual support, we consistently keep our classes small. For this reason, we had to to stop the scholarship programme.

I assure that I have provided all information completely and correctly to the best of my knowledge and belief. I agree that my documents can be checked for authenticity. I am aware that negligently or intentionally giving false information is against the regulations and may lead to exclusion from the admission procedure or - if discovered later - to revocation of admission or registration..

I also hereby declare that I have taken note of the admission information.

FAQs – the most frequently asked questions

Our experts will first check your application and compare the attached documents with our requirements. We will then contact you.
Should you then wish to officially enrol, our experts may request further documents.

Regular classes begin in October. However, in order to be able to offer our students the best possible support, we do offer preparatory courses in some cases. Therefore, different dates are possible.

Not every student can be present on the first day of school. In the case of a missing visa, open visa applications or due to restrictions on entry, it is not always possible to attend classes immediately.

In these cases, we offer our students the opportunity to attend classes online (up to 6 months). This already works very well!

Basic German language skills are not required. International students start with preparatory German courses and can reach level C1 with their two to three years education (A1 to TestDaF C1).

Our students are slowly guided through the English language lessons. After a brief period of time, the English skills of most students improve significantly. Communication with students of other nationalities then usually works very quickly.

International students should have successfully completed at least nine years of school. Due to the range of different qualifications, we do not limit the qualifications required. Your diploma, school report or.. should be comparable to a Junior High School Leaving Certificate. We check this independently for each student.
